Inspirit Residences is an independent lifestyle, “Apartment plus Care” retirement home in the Old South London neighbourhood of London, Ontario. We offer full-sized apartments with full-kitchens, washers and dryers and balconies as well as a range of care services to promote and maintain independence for our residents.
The Apartment Plus Care Model
Inspirit is a small, tight knit (but friendly) boutique community with just 43 units. We offer wonderfully spacious apartments, which are the largest of any retirement residence in London. Each full-sized apartment has a full kitchen (including a dishwasher), full-sized washer and dryer units, private balconies and large windows. And when you need assistance, our professional and capable nursing and care team will provide you with any assistance, compassion and comfort that you need. Our unique Apartment Plus Care model balances complete independence with customized and personalized care, tailored to your needs.
Non-Denominational Faith Community
While not necessarily a “religious” residence, you might wish to join many Inspirit residents in celebrating their faith through our non-denominational, inter-faith programming. Our residents come from varying religious backgrounds, however, the common belief for most of our residents is that celebrating faith is an important & enjoyable part of living at Inspirit.
Chef-Prepared Meals
If you don’t feel like cooking, you’ll enjoy our home-cooked and nutritionally balanced meals, full-flavoured and based on local ingredients. From homemade soups to cookies, treats and fresh breads; you will definitely find variety and quality in a huge piece of the Inspirit experience. Flexible meal packages allow you to cook in your apartment or enjoy our chef-prepared meals.
Our Gorgeous Gardens
Our residents are passionate about gardening. Our grounds are relaxing, fulfilling, and offer residents the beauty, colour, sights and sounds of nature – right outside our door. We hold gardening workshops and offer programs and learn from our residents as well! Some residents like to get their hands dirty in our vegetable garden while others like to create their own garden-space on their large balconies. Others enjoy spending time at the fish point, but our gardens and gardening are a huge part of life at Inspirit.
